Passport Approved is an internationally syndicated import radio show that airs with coast-to-coast syndication at The Current KCMP (Minneapolis / Saint Paul MN), KNRK (Portland, OR), WEQX (Albany, NY/Manchester, VT), WCNR (Charlottesville, VA), YRockOnXPN WXPN Philadelphia, and The Independent FM (www.TheIndependent.FM), as well as an international presence in Germany (Berlin, Stuttgart & Brandenburg) via the tastemaker station FluxFM. In addition to the syndicated show, there is also a “Passport Approved Daily” version which is run throughout the day parts on KNRK 94.7FM Portland, OR. The show also has a dedicated channel on Yahoo’s Y! Music, the largest music portal in the world. Passport Approved is creation of British-born / Los Angeles-based DJ Sat Bisla, who was previously a DJ at KCRW in Los Angeles. Previously Bisla also worked at a number of other music-intensive radio stations in Central California, including KKDJ “The Edge” Fresno, where he hosted/programmed a weekly import show and was also the station’s Music Director. Over the years Bisla has been credited with playing a part in helping artists (pre-label signing) such as Coldplay, Wolfmother, Keane, Dido, Faithless, Lily Allen, Ting Tings, Editors, Teddybears, Missy Higgins and many others who have gone on to have global success. Passport Approved works with tastemaker DJs and radio stations from around the world, including Kiwi FM New Zealand, Xfm Radio Network and Deutschland`s MotorFM. Passport Approved has also done weekly exchanges with Australia’s Triple M Radio, and also highly-influential BBC Radio 1 (UK) DJ Zane Lowe.

The Buzz Bands LA Radio Show presents the best in Southern California music as curated by Buzzbands.LA, the go-to source for everything local in greater Los Angeles. Host Kevin Bronson launched Buzzbands.LA in October 2008 as an extension of the Buzz Bands column he authored for the Los Angeles Times from 2002 to 2008. Bronson, a writer and editor who has worked for national and local publications, has a history of illuminating the best emerging bands in L.A. He is also a DJ, show promoter and curator of the annual summertime Also I Like to Rock series at the Hammer Museum.

Casper VonDj was raised in the Punk and New Wave movements of Los Angeles. Casper grew up with first hand experience and a love for many musical genres. At an early age he became a musician, playing guitar and singing in garage and punk rock bands. As a founding member of LA’s own Pleasure Seekers and Bass player to eclectic cult artist Coyote Shivers, Casper developed into what one LA times Article referred to as “ LA’s next big star”. His tenure there has included DJ performances with Rolan Bolan, Queens Of The Stone Age, Billy Idol, Joan Jett, Elvis Costello, and Maroon 5. Casper spins a huge variety of tunes on his vinyl player.
